Weekly Wrap Up

This week I decided to do a weekly wrap up even though I participate in the It's Monday, What Are You Reading meme.

This past week, I:

Participated in Bloggiesta for the first time-I had fun, got some great ideas, and accomplished some of my goals

Experienced the joys of having a mouse in the house (I named him Despereaux since he can successfully evade mousetraps)- Despereaux showed up in my bedroom on Thursday night, which was not a pleasant surprise. I was finishing up my reading and getting ready to go to sleep when he ran in and I tried to chase him out to no avail. He left evidence of his presence around the house and caused some sleepless nights but thankfully he has now vacated the premises!

Found out that I won two books (very exciting!): I have already received Life, In Spite of Me by Kristen Jane Anderson from Lydia at The Lost Entwife. I also won My Name Is Mary Sutter by Robin Oliveira from Jennifer at Crazy-For-Books.
