Read-A-Thon Mid Event Survey

So I guess I'm half way through the Read a Thon now although I am not going to reading for 24 hours. Now I'm trying to decide what to read instead of my current book which is kind of a downer (it is a beautiful book but deals with the main character's grief over the death of her sister). I am also trying to find reserves of energy because my allergy medication is trying to drag me under. Hope you are enjoying your reading!

Mid-Event Survey:

1. What are you reading right now?
Currently I am reading The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson but I am thinking about putting to the side and switching to an e-book for awhile

2. How many books have you read so far?
So far I have read three books

3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?
The Unwritten Rule (although I may not get to it)

4. Did you have to make any special arrangements to free up your whole day?
Not really

5. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?
I've had a few but it didn't deter me that much

6. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?
I'm having a hard time tearing myself away from my reading to blog

7. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
Not at the moment

8. What would you do differently, as a Reader or a Cheerleader, if you were to do this again next year?
I think I might have some better "reading food" on hand and get more upbeat books

9. Are you getting tired yet?
I have been tired all day because I'm on Benadryl and my eyes feel really dry

10. Do you have any tips for other Readers or Cheerleaders, something you think is working well for you that others may not have discovered?
Not really, I'm new to this

  2. It sounds like Benadryl is an enemy of the readathon! I hope you start feeling better.
