Bookish Movies Mini Challenge

Lydia at The Lost Entwife is hosting a mini challenge where we pick one of our favorite books that we wish would be made into a movie and we cast one of the characters.

One book that I think would make a great movie is Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles

For this one, I'd cast Dianna Agron from the T.V. show Glee as the main female character Brittany Ellis. On the surface, Brittany is a beautiful popular girl and her life appears to be perfect but in fact it is all an act. I am a big fan of Glee and Dianna Agron's character Quinn Fabray reminds me a lot of Brittany, especially her home life, which I think is why I pictured Dianna as Brittany when I read the book.

What do you think?

  2. Wow, what a great choice! I never would have thought of that! I really suck at taking characters in books and making them actors...If they end up making a movie I wouldn't be surprised if she actually got the part haha.

  3. Good choice! I may have thought of Quinn from Glee but it would have taken me a while. But I think she's perfect for it. If Jesse Ventamaglia (?) was younger and Latino, he would be perfect as Alex. I'm going to ponder who could actually play Alex, I would be so mad if they didn't cast a Latino in the role (if a movie was actually being made).

Keep up the reading! Hope you're having fun :)
