Soundtrack Song Mini Challenge

Alita Reads is holding a Soundtrack Song Mini Challenge for the Readathon.

Here’s how to play:

* Pick up a book that you’ve read today, or are currently reading.

* Choose a song that goes with the book – could be that it fits the overall feel of it or even a certain scene.

* Create a blog post answering the following:

Book title

Soundtrack song

Why you chose that song

* If possible, include a clip of the song (ie, youtube video).

Here is mine:

Book title: Front and Center by Catherine Gilbert Murdock

Soundtrack song: I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack

The reason I chose this is because the main character DJ Schwenk allows fear to keep her from taking chances in life and love. Some of her family members also struggle with this and I think the song really fits the book really well. I am not a fan of country music generally but I like this song and it has a really positive message.

If you want to participate in this mini challenge, visit Alita Reads.
