24 Hour Read-A-Thon

I've signed up to participate in the 24 Hour Read-A-Thon tomorrow although I definitely won't be reading for 24 hours. Originally I was aiming to read for 18 hours at least but due to the fact that I seem to have come down with a cold or allergies I will not be reading that many hours because I will likely be too drowsy from the Benadryl I plan to take.

Now I plan to read between 8-12 hours instead spread throughout the day. Hopefully I will wake up tomorrow feeling just fine and be able to read for much longer. Thankfully my start time is at 8 a.m. EST.

My potential reading list:

A Match Made in High School by Kristin Walker
The Off Season by Catherine Gilbert Murdock
Front and Center by Catherine Gilbert Murdock
The Unwritten Rule by Elizabeth Scott
The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson
Birthmarked by Caragh M. O'Brien
Becca By The Book by Laura Jensen Walker
Seeing Emily by Joyce Lee Wong
The Less-Dead by April Lurie
The Bad Queen by Carolyn Meyer

I will be updating this post with my progress in the late afternoon and then when I wrap up.  Depending on how I feel, I plan to read until 11:00 p.m. (EST).

Good luck to all of you who are participating!

  1. I hope you achieve your goal. I used to sit for hours and read, but those days are over for me. Now I read in brief moments daily.
