South Asian Author Challenge

S. Krishna's Books is hosting the South Asian Author Challenge. The goal of the challenge is to read books by authors of South Asian descent (India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh). The books also have to be about South Asia, South Asian culture, or history. Rereads are allowed.

There are four different challenge levels:

Read 3 books
Read 5 books
Read 7 books
Read 10 books

I am really excited about this challenge since I am a South Asian myself. I am going to aim for the 7 book level. If you would like to participate, go to S. Krishna's Books blog to sign up.

My list:
1. Secret Daughter by Shilpi Somaya Gowda
2. Invisible Lives by Anjali Banerjee
3. One Amazing Thing by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni
