Virgin: Prelude to the Throne by Robin Maxwell

A novel about the youth of Queen Elizabeth I and her life with her stepmother Katherine Parr and Thomas Seymour.


The Lightkeeper's Daughter by Colleen Coble

Addie Sullivan had a difficult childhood as the daughter of the lighthouse keeper until a wealthy distant relative gives her the opportunity to be a governess but as Addie searches for answers to the truth of her past she finds herself in danger.

  1. Oh man, The Secret History of the Pink Carnation is one of my favorite historicals, and the series just gets better in later books. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I also wanted to compliment you on your blog so far, it looks like you're off to a great start!
