Gilmore Girls Reading Challenge

Lisa from Lit and Life is hosting the Gilmore Girls Reading Challenge. This challenge involves reading books that were mentioned during the seven seasons of The Gilmore Girls. I am a huge Gilmore Girls fan so I am excited about this challenge. There are five different categories of books to choose from (classics, modern classics, childrens/young adult, nonfiction, and other) and a variety of titles.

There are three challenge levels:

Emily: Read 5 books from at least two different categories
Lorelai: Read 10 books from at least three different categories
Rory: Read 20 books from at least four different categories

I am going to aim for the Lorelai level because I don't think I could manage to reach the Rory level. If you are interested in participating, visit the Gilmore Girls Reading Challenge blog to sign up

My list of books I plan to read:
1. Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
2. Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens
3. Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier
4. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
5. Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom
6. The Crimson Petal and the White by Michel Faber
7. Terms of Endearment by Larry McMurtry
8. Love Story by Erich Segal
9. The Merry Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare
10. In Cold Blood by Truman Capote
