Across the Universe was an amazing though at times disturbing book. I will hopefully have my review up next week.
Pemberley Ranch by Jack Caldwell
This was a surprisingly creative and enjoyable retelling of Pride and Prejudice set in post Civil War Texas.
The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa
I think this was the best book in the series! I was not expecting to like it as much as I did. Now I can't wait to read The Iron Knight.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoy seeing what other people are reading. Your list looks intriguing. I'm adding Pemberley Ranch by Jack Caldwell to my TBR list. Thanks for the recommendation. This weekend I read a very inspiring book called Major Dream: From Immigrant Housemaid to Harvard Ph.D. (author Jin Kyu Robertson Ph.D.). She writes about how she achieved the American Dream. It wasn't easy but with determination and hard work she did it. It's an amazing story!

I loved The Iron Queen but not as much as the others, so I guess I'm the opposite of you on that one ;)
