In My Mailbox (44)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren to share what books you received for review, purchased, or checked out from the library during the past week.

For review:

The Vespertine by Saundra Mitchell

I am so excited about The Vespertine! I love historical fiction and have only heard good things about this book so far. I will hopefully be able to read it soon.

Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins

Won:

Dark Angels by Karleen Koen

I hadn't heard of this book until I found out that I won it for participating in a French Historical Reading Challenge last year. It sounds like a really interesting historical fiction novel set during the 17th century at the court of King Charles II.

Thanks to Lucy at Enchanted by Josephine!

From the library:

The Orchid Affair by Lauren Willig

I was very hapy to get The Orchid Affair from the library this week. I love the Pink Carnation series and can't wait to dive into this story!

The Latte Rebellion by Sarah Jamila Stevenson

I first heard about this book from Reading in Color and I think it sounds fantastic. I am going to be reading The Latte Rebellion for the POC Reading Challenge.
