I became a fan of Sara Zarr after reading How to Save a Life earlier this year. I think this book sounds fantastic. I love that it is about a teen who plays the piano because that was a big part of my life when I was a teen and it is great to see more YA books featuring the arts.
Ooh that book sounds really interesting. I don't think I've read anything where a pianist (and a young one at that) features prominently.

This does sound good. I haven't read too many books with the focus on a teen who plays the piano...I love music, so I will definitely be adding this to my TBR list. Great pick!
ReplyDeleteI love the inclusion of piano in this story since I played it as a kid. Although How to Save a Life wasn't my favorite read, I still really admire Zarr's writing and am very excited to pick up this book!
