In My Mailbox (14)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren to share what books you received for review, purchased, or checked out from the library during the past week.

This week I got a couple of books that I'm really excited to read. I've been wanting to read Mistwood and I was going to wait to see if I could get it through interlibrary loan from my library but then I read a really good review of it and I read an excerpt so I had to buy the e-book right away. Not Quite Paradise is a nonfiction book about an American woman's year in Sri Lanka (my parents' homeland) so I look forward to learning a lot. I was also excited to get Leaving Paradise since I enjoyed Perfect Chemistry and Rules of Attraction so much.

Purchased:

Mistwood by Leah Cypess

From the library:

Dirty Little Secrets by C.J. Omololu

Numbers by Rachel Ward

Leaving Paradise by Simone Elkeles

Oh. My. Gods. by Tera Lynn Childs

Mr. Darcy Broke My Heart by Beth Pattillo

What exciting books did you get this week?

  4. May have to try the Mr. Darcy Broke My heart. I love a good P&P based book.

Also, I didn't realize After the Kiss was in verse either. I gave it a try but just not my type of thing. I'll be interested to hear what you think.
