I am not a mom myself but I plan to spend the day with my mom. I am blessed to have a great supportive mom who taught me to read and encouraged me to love books and school (she is a teacher). We've grown closer since I became an adult and I've enjoyed sharing some of my interests with her like Scrabble and Jane Austen. One of my favorite bookish memories is the first time we watched the Pride and Prejudice miniseries together. Now we try to do so once a year. I am so thankful for my mom and the way she has been there for me through the difficult times. She believes in me when I struggle to believe in myself. Thank you mom!
My mom on the day of my sister's wedding last year. Isn't she lovely?
