This week, I'm waiting on:
A Million Suns by Beth Revis
Publication date: January 10, 2012
Description from Goodreads:
Godspeed was fueled by lies. Now it is ruled by chaos.
It's been three months since Amy was unplugged. The life she always knew is over. And everywhere she looks, she sees the walls of the spaceship Godspeed. But there may just be hope: Elder has assumed leadership of the ship. He's finally free to enact his vision - no more Phydus, no more lies.
But when Elder discovers shocking news about the ship, he and Amy race to discover the truth behind life on Godspeed. They must work together to unlock a puzzle that was set in motion hundreds of years earlier, unable to fight the romance that's growing between them and the chaos that threatens to tear them apart.
Across the Universe is one of the best books I've read this year so I am really looking forward to book two. I am glad there are only a few months left to go (though I'm not really eager to see January yet!)
What are you waiting on this week?
I started Across the Universe and abandoned it and have been meaning to pick it up again. Everyone seems to have loved the book and cannot wait for this one to come out, so I guess I will give it another shot.
ReplyDeleteBook 2 already? I haven't read ACROSS THE UNIVERSE yet. Guess I better get cracking! Thanks for highlighting this one.
ReplyDeleteOh, I've been intrigued by this series, even though I haven't read any of the books yet. Enjoy!

I was in between on Across the Universe but I definitely want to see this cover in person because I remember how AtU has the reversible cover and I want to see if this one does too.
ReplyDeleteI really liked Across the Universe too and can't wait for this one. I'm glad it's coming out early in 2012---hopefully I can get my hands on a copy! Great pick, Christina!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Across the Universe yet, but it looks good. Hope you get to read this once it is released! Happy reading!
