Top Ten 2016 Releases I Meant to Read But Didn't Get To

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. There is a new subject each week and this week's theme is "Top Ten 2016 Releases I Meant To Read But Didn't Get To (but Totally Plan To).

Even though I read 140 books last year I still didn't have time (or make time) to get to these books that are still sitting on my TBR pile or list. The first four on my list were actually books I have ARCs to review so I'll see if I can make them a priority.

When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi
A House Without Windows by Nadia Hashimi
Britt-Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman
Everyone Brave is Forgiven by Chris Cleave

Belgravia by Julian Fellowes
The Hating Game by Sally Thorne

Paper and Fire by Rachel Caine
One Half From the East by Nadia Hashimi
Bad Blood by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

  1. Great list! I also meant to read Everyone Brave is Forgiven. I have heard great things about it. I just picked up The Hating Game this week and am enjoying it! I hope you get to read Belgravia - it wasn't as good as DA, but it helped to fill the void a little.

  2. I just finished The Hating Game last night and it was an enjoyable romantic comedy but it ended abruptly for me. I also liked Paper and Fire, but I didn't love it as much as the first book. I want to read The Man Called Ove by Britt-Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman. I've been asked by several of my staff if I had read the book and if I would recommend it. I guess I have to read it to find out.

  3. I meant to get to The Naturals to start the series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I have heard a lot about The Hating Game. Enjoy

  5. House without windows sounds quite interesting! I've liked both Fredrik Bachman books I've read, but I haven't read the one on your list.
