2015 End of Year Book Survey and Resolutions

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. There is a new subject each week and this week's topic is "Top 10 Resolutions for 2015"

My resolutions for 2o15:

Get fit--try to exercise every day or move more (with the help of my Fitbit and #FitReaders!)
Eat healthier--Eat less prepackaged and processed foods
Learn how to cook more healthy meals
Cut back on coffee shop drinks
Be wiser about how I spend my money (no more daily trips to the coffee shop!)

My bookish resolutions for 2015:

Be more selective in books I request for review
Try to catch up on writing reviews
Read a classic
Read more library books
Read more books I want to read as opposed to those I have to review

  1. The Nightingale was my favorite as well! Such a good book and it definitely brought tears to my eyes. I liked your resolutions for 2016. I definitely want to do some of the same, especially when it comes to reading what I want vs. what is for review.

  2. I have not ready any of the Marissa Meyer books but maybe this is a good time to start! I love your bookish resolutions - and I am going to try to get healthier as well!

  3. Lisa Genova is brilliant, so glad you have tried her, I need to read her newest but I have read all the others, you won't be disappointed. I am reading Nightingale now, halfway through. I agree Ove is a hidden gem but I would say it took forever for me to appreciate the characters and begin to enjoy the book.

  4. Coffee shop drinks. :) I hear you on that one. And I want to read some classics in 2016 as well. I have a few on my shelf waiting for me, but just haven't taken the time yet...

Fun survey. I agree about that cover of Along the Infinite Sea, every time I see it i like it. And I still need to read the new Riordan.

  5. Great post. This survey takes so much time to do every year, I feel we should all be awarded a medal for completing it. Congrats on reading 142 books, that is a rather impressive amount. The Winner's Crime was such a good sequel. But now I am just desperate to get my hands on the next book in the series.

Great answers! I hope you have a great reading year in 2016! :) Here's my survey if you want to check it out.
